John Norman
Deputy Assistant Chief John Norman is another The Bravest Seminars team leader.
His training in such prestigious institutes as General Electric’s Leadership Development Facility at Columbia University, as well as his
extensive hands-on experience in the New York City Fire Department, have made him a highly regarded
and influential figure throughout the field of management technique with in-depth exposure in the application of the INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
He also serves as an instructor in the Counter terrorism Training program conducted jointly by the FDNY and the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Chief Norman is also the author of the best selling book, "Fire Officers Handbook of Tactics."
His experience and knowledge of the INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM has made him a nationally sought after speaker.
Chief Norman served as the Search & Rescue manager for the entire World Trade Center disaster. The
losses the New York City Fire Department suffered that day, compounded by the increasing challenges of terrorism
and fiscal constraints brought on by the impact of the attack of New York’s economy, have demanded
strong leadership and creative management techniques.
